  • 16 Aug 2011 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to support this amendment, but there arises a complication here. We propose that when the political parties come to share this Fund, they should take into account the votes that each party got. Amongst those are the insurance companies, banks and even some trusts. There are a number of people whose lives get ruined not because there is ... view

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want the Assistant Minister to clarify that, indeed, it is not an issue of transformers that is making them not supply electricity but the lack of capacity to generate the electricity to be supplied. In view of that, could he consider installing generators in Kongowea and Homa Bay so that electricity can be generated first before we talk of transformers to distribute it? view
  • 10 Aug 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Is it right that when you are speaking, the Assistant Minister is still on his feet? He is not even respecting the decorum of the House. view
