  • 10 May 2018 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, thank you for giving me a chance to also contribute to this very important Bill. Before I do so, I request for your permission to also condole with the families who lost their loved ones in the Solai floods. Just like many of my colleagues have already said, the Government should declare floods a national disaster and treat it with a lot of urgency. • 9 May 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me a chance to also appreciate the response given by the Chairman, concerning human-wildlife conflict. • 8 May 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me a chance to add my voice to the Speech made by His Excellency, the President in the State of the Nation Address. The ideas in the Speech were excellent, unifying and gave hope. The President touched on many areas but only a few of them are of great concern and if addressed well, will go a long way in helping him to leave a better legacy. The President assured Kenyans of his support for devolution. He also discussed the challenges that were faced in the beginning of his term which was also ... view
  • 28 Mar 2018 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to support the Motion. From the onset, I congratulate his Excellency the President, Hon. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his Excellency the Rt. hon. Raila Odinga. This is a great moment in Kenya. As young politicians, we want to emulate and learn from them, that there is a time that the interests of the nation are bigger than an individual’s. From today, we, as a House, need to come together as representatives of the people from the 47 counties. We need to preach peace and unity to our young people and women who are mostly ... view
