  • 13 Jun 2018 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this Bill. I want to applaud the Mover of this Bill. It is a very exciting Bill and the owner needs to be applauded. This Bill will help Kenyans to access services. It will enable individuals who are ignorant to access such services. It will also enable standardisation of documentation in all counties. When documents are produced at the county level, they will serve their clients without much delay. Madam Temporary Speaker, many of my colleagues have talked about how this Bill will help create employment opportunities ... view
  • 12 Jun 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I stand to support this Statement. It is sad to hear such a business is going to take place in Kenya. More goods and services are manufactured in Kenya and it is high time markets for such goods and services are found in this country so as to improve the economy. When you hear that such goods or services are being imported, it is like dissecting Kenya and completely finishing its economy. It is a high time, as Senators, we condemned this act. For those people who are involved, they should pursue to source those ... view
  • 7 Jun 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to contribute on the Statement. I commend my fellow Senator who has come up with this Statement. This particular spot has taken a lot of precious lives because of corruption that we have been singing about. This incident could have been prevented if the police officers who were manning that road were keen and effective in the delivery of their mandate. It is unfortunate that lives have been lost and this does not only happen on this particular road. We have lost lives on other roads in the country as ... view

  • 7 Jun 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this Motion of Registration of PWDs. This registration is long overdue in our country. I know that thisparticular exercise comes with its own expenses, but it is the right of PWDs to be accounted for, wherever they are in in this country. These people, just like any other person, need to enjoy the rights of being educated, owning properties and basic rights as a whole. Madam Temporary Speaker, it is very disappointing to see that most of PWDs are not accounted for. The data given of slightly ... view

  • 31 May 2018 in Senate: Thank you very much, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion. I applaud the Senator who brought it to the Floor of the House. Speaking about corruption, Kenya is ailing in the intensive care unit and about to die. If you look at corruption, as my colleagues have said, it has scaled heights and is incontrollable. It has nothing to be compared to. view
