  • 29 Oct 2013 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, sir, while the Chairman has said that the demarcation has been stopped, just the Saturday before the last one, a new market was opened up in this disputed area and it has regenerated new tension within the area. Therefore, I would like the Chairman to confirm that this new market came up exactly two weeks ago and is now a new cause of concern. I am very appreciative to my colleague, Sen. Kiraitu. We have spoken about this matter and worked together for a long time to make sure that our boundaries are peaceful and our people live ... view

  • 22 Oct 2013 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I really sympathize with the situation and what the hon. Senator has said is true. He sought a Statement and we had said that we would be able to deliver it. One of the promises that we made to the Senator was that we were going to visit the place ourselves. view
