  • 9 Oct 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, Bararget Settlement Scheme is in my constituency. The people who were settled there are the land clashes victims who had been evicted from Lare. Recently, the Ministry of Lands acquired a property from hon. Njenga Karume and they specifically said that they were going to resettle those people from Likia. Could the Assistant Minister confirm that the people from Likia will be settled on the former Njenga Karume's farm and the land in Bararget Settlement Scheme will be used to settle the squatters that are in Kuresoi Constituency, who came from Lare, and the other squatters from ... view
