Hon. Speaker, I stand to apprise the House on the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF). Specifically, it is to apprise the House on the Kshs25 billion which is available to constituencies in this Financial Year 2016/2017. The National Treasury has disbursed Kshs15 billion to the National Government Constituencies Development Fund Board (NG-CDFB). The Board, to date, has reviewed and approved project proposals for 172 constituencies, that is as at 15th November 2016. The Committee that I chair, that is the National Assembly Select Committee on National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), met yesterday and approved, in accordance with the law, the allocation of monies to each constituency for the Financial Year 2016/2017.
