In so doing, I want to move that the House, under Standing Order No.97, adjourns Debate on this ... view

  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, although Standing Order No.97 would apply, Standing Order No. 51(3) is more relevant. Thank you for your guidance. view
  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to move under Standing Order No.51(3) that you defer putting the question to the following day on both the amendment and the main Motion view
  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, with those few remarks, I beg to move that the Chair exercises its discretion to defer the putting of the question on both the amendment and the main Motion to tomorrow afternoon, at 3.00 p.m. view
  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Point of information, Madam Temporary Speaker. view
  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, I wish to inform the distinguished Senator for Homa Bay County who is my learned Senior that the role and function of the protection of the environment and natural resources with a view to establishing a durable and sustainable system of development, including and in particular fishing, is a national responsibility. Our brothers and sisters in the Lower House should be pre-occupied with this and not bastardizing the Senate. view
