I have an answer ready and most of it requires tabling of documents. So, I may want to seek the indulgence of the House that I table the documents that I have on record and then, perhaps, with leave of the House, the hon. Member can have time to look at the answer and be willing to tackle it. view

While on transit here, unfortunately, I was caught up in a traffic jam. But, I really sincerely apologize and have given a very candid position as to why I was caught up late. You will notice that I missed the Question by just a few minutes. But, nevertheless, I was not here on time and I apologize for that. view

My colleague who was designated to respond to the Question may have been held up somewhere. So, I had to rush in when I realized he had not arrived. I really apologize to the House for this. I beg to reply. (a) I wish to table a list of all the towns and municipalities that have a population of more than 90,000 residents according to the 2009 Population Census. view

Indeed, the issues of sewerage and water used to be functions of the local authorities until the Water Act came into place. However, it may be important for the House to know that the Constitution which we passed is now transferring back these functions to the county governments. However, I will take up the challenge that the Member has brought up that we collaborate with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation to look at Migori in terms of sewerage even in planning stages.
