Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, let me thank the Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs for that answer. The Vice-President has not provided what was the revenue collection in terms of air time between 2nd and 16th April, 2007 and also what was the cost, or the prize value of the pick-ups.

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs has said, in part (c) of the Question that Safaricom Limited has a policy on corporate social responsibility. I believe that the Safaricom Foundation is the corporate arm which deals with corporate social responsibility. What criteria does the Safaricom Foundation use in trying to disburse funds to different charitable causes?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have a problem that this House has to be treated to similar Questions of payment of gratuity and pensions of civil servants. The next of kin, Ms. Eunice Kalekye, submitted all the documents in August 2003. Up to date, which is four years down the line, the late Senior Chief's benefits have not been paid. Could the Assistant Minister tell us exactly what documents were supposed to be submitted and which ones were not submitted to necessitate this inordinate delay?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wonder whether this House passed an amendment to the Pensions Act that pension should be paid with interest after 90 days of 982 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES April 26, 2007 retirement or death of the person. Could the Assistant Minister inform the House whether the Government is going to pay the late Kiko's pension, including interest at market rates as per the amendment made to the Pensions Act?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I concur with the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education, Research and Technology, that Lenana School, being a national school, has a special place in this country. More importantly, we have a strategic master- plan for the school. The free land that we have in this city is not confined to Lenana School only. He can also consider the alternative of Ngong Forest, where he can apportion the forest and build whatever they want to build there. Why must we specifically apportion land owned by Lenana School?

Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this chance. From the outset, I would like to support the Political Parties Bill. I wish to thank and congratulate the Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs for expediting the drafting of this Bill. I think much has been said about the Political Parties Bill. I would like to say that we did not have a written law to regulate the conduct of political parties in this country.
