• 8 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Roads:- (a) what urgent measures the Ministry is taking to improve Nakuru-Nyahururu Road( B5), which is dilapidated; and, (b) whether he is aware that rain water draining from Menengai Hill Crater causes damage to the road due to lack of a proper drainage system and, if so, what measures the Ministry will take to improve the drainage systems along the road. view
• 8 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Assistant Minister because of noting that the road is in a pathetic situation. I also want to ask him to assure this House that when they start the repairs, they are going to do the whole road. This is because last time, he told me that they were going to do the repairs, they only did a section of the road and left the worst part. I want him to tell this House how much he has allocated and if they are going to do the whole road to Nyahururu. view
• 8 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, realizing the importance of this road and Subukia being a very economically viable zone, could the Assistant Minister consider making a budgetary allocation during the 2011/2012 Financial Year, so that the whole road can be re-tarmacked from Nyahururu to Nakuru, so that we do not have to keep on maintaining it year in, year out? view

Having looked at the qualifications of the person who has been appointed, he is a person who has a lot of experience and has worked with the Authority. The firm that did the work is reputable. • 1 Sep 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister has said that the compilation of information from the schools is what causes the delay. It is common knowledge that we have very few education officers who can assist in that. When is the Ministry planning to employ more education officers who will assist in the compilation of the information and deliver it to the Ministry in good time? view

Huu ni wakati ambapo tumetoka kampeni zetu za Katiba mpya, na tena tumeipitisha Katiba hii. Tumefurahi kwa sababu baada ya kampeni tuliipitisha Katiba. Ningeuliza Serikali iendelee kutilia maanani Katiba, na pia Wakenya wajue kuwa sasa tuna county na tunastahili kuona county zetu zikiendelea vizuri. • 26 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this matter is very weighty and it concerns many lives. I know the Government moves with speed if they want to. The Assistant Minister is well known to always indicate that they are doing something but we never see any action being taken. Could he assure this House that he is going to move the whole police force as he always claims so that this matter can come to rest? Could he assure us that within a week, we are going to get results and that we are going to see things working and moving? view

Kwa sababu mhandisi ambaye anasimamia barabara hiyo amekadiria kwamba itagharimu Kshs60 milioni na hivi sasa, Waziri ametuambia kuwa ametenga Kshs30 milioni. Je, pesa hizo zingine, Kshs30 milioni, zitapatikana lini? Pia, tunataka aelewe kwamba kuna majambazi wengi katika barabara hiyo. Kwa hivyo, ningeomba atafute pesa kwa haraka na atueleze itamalizika lini ili majambazi waache kuwatisha wananchi. view
