5 Sep 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I think the background to this regulation is very clear. Even with the two months we are asking for to go through them and do a thorough scrutiny, I think it should be possible that we look at them even if those amendments added two months; to me, that would be interim because what we are looking at here is a scenario where unless we take precautions such as this, I dare say that we are looking at a situation where the elections may not be what Kenyans expect them to be. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it ...

28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I was just following up on the issue raised by hon. Eseli. I wanted to point out that now we are electronic, it is actually possible to build in the time into our console, so that we are able to see without having to put clocks on our walls. As the Chairman of the House Broadcasting Committee, filing the place with clocks, again, is like walking backwards. We should pursue the technology.
