  • 19 Apr 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister, in his answers, says that the border point is in dispute. The security camp was built on the border point. It is situated about two kilometres from the border of Turkana and West Pokot. In fact, it is right inside West Pokot. It was built for the sake of all the communities. It is not somebody's house, but a security post. Now that the Assistant Minister claims that it was built at a disputed point, what has the Government done then, to solve the dispute, and try bring the warring communities together? view
