However, if you look at part “a” of his answer, he talks about tax waiver on imported hotel equipment. It is a fact that the county councils of Samburu and Isiolo entirely depend on these lodges and hotel camps to raise revenue for their operations. All the eight lodges on the Samburu side were swept away by the floods and up to now, none of them has been rebuilt.
