Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to ride on Sen. Khaniri’s request. When are they going to revive these industries because for the one in Nanyuki, even the land has been grabbed? Could he tell us when they are going to reclaim those parcels of land and revive the industries?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity. I would like the Vice Chairperson to clarify two issues. How soon are they going to compensate the 46 land owners? It is over three years now since they started negotiating and we are not seeing anything coming out of that. Secondly, what about the transmission line from Marsabit passing through Wamba to Laikipia and Longonot? How many families or group ranches have you identified for compensation?

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. If you can read the first Statement, the request for a Statement on compensation of land owners affected by KETRACO in Samburu County are not mentioned in any line. I know there are two lines but the Vice Chairperson is telling me that there is only one line.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, you have heard the response from the Acting Chairperson, who is also a medical doctor. He knows that all medical issues are urgent. He should, therefore, give us that response immediately because the mothers in Nandi County are at risk. Now that the rains have started we will have many cases of Malaria and Typhoid. Could the Acting Chair come back with the answer on Tuesday?
