I thank the Petitioner who brought this matter before the Committee, Mr. Philip K. Too. As a Committee, we deliberated on the issue and involved all the stakeholders. The stakeholders include the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), the Kenya Union of Primary Education Teachers (KUPET), the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA), the Chief Executive Officer of Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning.   • 2 Aug 2023 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.56(1)(b) to make a Statement on the Activities of the Senate Standing Committee on Trade Industrialization and Tourism for the period commencing 1st April, 2023 to 30th June, 2023. During the period under review, the Committee held a total of 21 meetings.
