  • 12 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I heard the Assistant Minister tell this House that there are other arrangements that are in place to contain the insecurity that is rampant in that area. Could he tell us the arrangements because cattle and other livestock have been stolen and never returned? view
  • 12 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. Is the Assistant in order to mislead the House when we know that in this Republic of Kenya, every employee is paid on a monthly basis? The teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) are paid on a monthly basis? Has the policy changed and, if so, when was it changed? view
  • 12 Oct 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I thought all the teachers were put on permanent and pensionable employment and that there are no teachers employed on contract basis now. Why is the Assistant Minister misleading the House that they are on contract terms? view

The monies said to have been used could not have done that kind of work. An example is a project given to one John Ngatia regarding water in Timau. This is an individual in Kisima who was given Kshs19 million. Why is it that the Ministry found it fit ... view

  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, you have heard the Assistant Minister say that he is not aware of how much money has been used for each project and that he wants to verify. Could we defer the Question until next Tuesday when we visit the site to verify the projects? view

  • 8 Sep 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Since the Assistant Minister wants us to go and verify the projects, I would request that this Question be deferred and be answered when we come back. view
