  • 19 Jun 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is not very clear to me why the Minister and his two Assistant Ministers should be absent from the country for a whole month. It is not very clear at all. I would have expected the Government to appoint an acting Minister to run the Ministry. A month is too long! Mr. Speaker, Sir, I will not be here on Thursday. view
  • 19 Jun 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Minister is in the Hague saving the elephants of Kenya. Who will save the Samburu cattle and people who are being mauled by lions in his absence? view
  • 19 Jun 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, to save time, I agree on Thursday, as long as the Minister will be here. But I am not sure. view

  • 13 Jun 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this Ministry usually delivers what it promises. But I would like to ask a question with regard to a project on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for centres of excellence. I do not know who is funding that project, but two schools in my constituency were promised Kshs1.5 million for computers. However, since June, 2006 up to now, that project has not taken off. Is the Assistant Minister aware of that? What is the difficulty in implementing this ICT project? view
