Looking at the details he gave to the Committee, especially on his academic qualifications, he indicates that he was an assistant manager at Post Bank between 1987 and 1990. If you look at his curriculum vitae, it indicates that he was in secondary school during the same time. This means that he was lying to the Committee. Even though people have been complaining of the nature of doing business during the KANU regime, this Report has very clear information showing that the then Government followed the due process in making sure that all the residents and complainants got land from the forest. In this Report, I went through how the then Provincial Commissioner handled this issue by taking it to the County Council of Kiambu and how the leases were registered then. • 6 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I support the petition that has been presented by Hon. Michael Kingi, who is a brother and neighbour. These issues are very rampant in the Coast Region. People have always considered this as a cash cow for looters and grabbers. I believe the Departmental Committee on Lands is going to undertake serious interventions about these issues. They should get to understand why the former Government used to direct individuals in the Coast Region to grab such potential land. view
• 6 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: This is part and parcel of the historical injustices. We have been suffering for a very long time. This has left people thinking that we do not belong to Kenya. I highly believe that the Departmental Committee on Lands is going to undertake very serious measures. They should come up with recommendations that will be adopted by the House so that the great people of Sabaki and Magarini Constituency can get somewhere to settle. This will also send signals to the other parts of the Coast Region which have the same challenges. view

Gharama kama hiyo huwa inagharimu pesa nyingi zaidi na waheshimiwa huwa tunakosa kujikimu. Wabunge wengi huwa masikini kwa sababu ya kujaribu kusaidia kule nyanjani.
