Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to confirm that the Committee is finalising the report on the World Cup 2018 in Moscow. It will be tabled in the next two weeks and we will be requesting the Hon. Speaker to give the opportunity for that Report to be debated because it is of a lot of importance.

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I wanted to inform Hon. Sankok that the current situation happening in Nigeria is not of Kenyan making because around five nations are stranded at the airport; they have not been able to go to the competition venue because of lack of proper planning and connection flights. So, it is not only the Kenyan team which is affected. Teams from Ethiopia, Senegal and Djibouti are also stranded. The mistake is of the Nigerian authorities and the continental federation which organised the games.

I am actually the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Sports, Tourism and Culture. At the outset, I congratulate Hon. Gideon Keter for coming up with this Motion and also thank the Members who have come up to support it. As the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Sports, Tourism and Culture, I also want to say that the biggest agenda for the Committee is to push the Government to come up with facilities to support all the sports activities in Kenya. On behalf of the Departmental Committee on Sports, Culture and Tourism, which I Chair, I want to assure Hon. Osotsi that we are committed to coming up with a Bill in this regard. The Committee will be committed to make a Bill out of this Motion so that we entrench sports academies into law. Congratulations for coming up with that Motion.
