Mr. Speaker, Sir, my concern is the heavy-handedness with which this foreigner was subject to. He committed a bailable crime. Was it fair to detain him for that number of days? Is it because he was a foreigner or that is the normal way to handle such crime?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, whereas I appreciate your concern that the Chair may not have these answers now, I am inclined to think that you are likely to order that either another day is picked for the answers or the Cabinet Secretary is invited to come and throw some light on this. On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The Constitution under Article 125 clearly prescribes to the Committee what they should do in case of no response from the Ministry. We would have expected them to tell this House that they have summoned the Ministry officials to bring the answer.
