• 10 Mar 2016 in Senate: No, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I want to point out that this circular was born of a complaint that was made earlier on when the county assemblies were set up. A job evaluation was done and a circular to address the same issue was released on 27th November, 2013. In fact, this circular states clearly that it will be effective on a date which they have indicated, that is, 1st December, 2013. This directive has been there for a fairly long time and it addressed an issue that was raised earlier on. view

Unless West Pokot County is different from all the other counties, the question that was asked by my colleague Senator here applies to West Pokot only because we have not received any other similar complaint. If the county did the County Budgetary Provision; if they did their budget for 2013 and it is stated here very clearly that this is where funding will come from, then I am sure every county has this circular and has done that. view

We know that there are some medical complications that happened as a result of this medication and some of them are still very useful athletes. view
