  • 19 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I support the amendment. As we all know, those statutes go together. In fact, insolvency comes after some mishaps of the Companies Bill. So, the terms should marry. If there are amendments in the Companies Bill, it follows that there should be amendments in this Bill. Thank you. view
  • 19 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, mine is to support the Mover. Indeed, this is a necessary amendment. Otherwise, there would be confusion in this Act. It is very necessary because the referred Section in the Companies Bill was deleted and this one should also be deleted. Thank you. view

  • 5 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: We should appreciate that our Constitution did not come from heaven. There are several errors. What Hon. Ochieng is doing is rectify those errors. I appreciate that our term should not be less than 5 years. As the 11th Parliament, we will be remembered for compromising part of our term to rectify the Constitution. By December, we will not have served our term but we are sacrificing that, so that those who will come later will not have that problem. Kenyans should support us and acknowledge that what we are doing is sacrificing. view
  • 29 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for this opportunity. I rise to support this Motion. From the outset, I join my colleagues in congratulating Hon. John Waluke for bringing this Motion to this House. It is, indeed, true that training of experts particularly in the field of document examination, money laundering, cybercrime and forensics consume a lot of taxpayers’ money. Most of this training is never undertaken within the Republic. It is mostly offered in developed countries. Many of them are taken to Israel, Germany, USA and United Kingdom (UK) for this training. • 29 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: our officers, who are our children and brothers, have been killing themselves. If the Independent Policing Oversight Authority is serious about the welfare of officers, instead of blaming them and scrutinizing them negatively, they should look at their welfare and give them proper remuneration which matches that of others in the public service. Let those who have gone to universities be paid like other graduates in other corporations. With regard to housing, police are human beings who deserve humane treatment. Making them share houses even when they are married is de-humanizing. Those aspects, once they are looked into and taken ... view
  • 25 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: Asante sana, Mhe. Naibu Spika wa Muda kwa nafasi hii. Kwanza, ninampongeza Mhe.

  • 25 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: kuna msemo wa Kizungu ambao unasema kuwa “ ignorance ofthe law is no defence in court” .
Huwezi kumwambia mtu afuate sheria wakati sheria unayomwambia afuate haijui. Kwa hivyo kuna haja The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
