  • 28 Apr 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. We had a discussion in the Committee about this issue. I support the amendment because initially, it only had the option of imprisonment, but we agreed to give the judge or magistrate an option of either jailing someone for three years or less. This amendment gives the judge leeway to make a decision. view

Why are we having affirmative action in--- view
  • 21 Apr 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I am finalising. I had requested an opportunity to support the earlier amendment but I did not get it. If I had got it, I would have supported the women. view
