Many of our young people are not able to do business today because they cannot comply with that one simple rule. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I just wanted to bring to your attention that the Member is using the term "bribing" in a context likely to distort the actual meaning of that word. Bribery we know, of course, is payment to induce or to cause someone to behave otherwise to look the other side. Therefore, I call upon you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, to ask the Member to withdraw and apologise to the House for misleading us. view

It is interesting that we are discussing a pandemic that is with us. Of course, about eight months ago when it was declared a pandemic, the country started its preparedness. • 26 Nov 2020 in National Assembly: many times must we debate and sound an alarm before it is implemented? Money has been set aside, and yet nothing is happening. Someone must bite the bullet. If the Principal Secretart, who is the Accounting Officer, or the Cabinet Secretary are sleeping on the job, they should step aside and allow other competent Kenyans to run the Ministry of Health so that Kenyans stop going through this pain and shame.
