  • 23 Oct 2013 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, I stand to support this Motion by Sen. Muthama and I also stand on my own right as a senior citizen. I am also a senior farmer, so I would like to say that this Motion has come at a very appropriate moment. I am saying that coffee and tea farmers should be subsidized. Senator number one said that this is a senior House and many good things can come out of this House. I totally agree with him because this applies to not only tea and coffee; another Motion should be brought here to address the ... view

Women from the Asian community were at hand to feed the doctors who came out to give services. This is commendable. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to echo one thing which I saw in the media; that this is one country and one people. Indeed, this problem has brought us together as one.
