Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. The issues raised in the Statement request by hon. wa Kabando are very weighty. We need a minimum of four weeks, because there is a lot to be prosecuted. We will invite even the hon. Member, if he knows more, to present the same to the Committee. On the second Statement request, three weeks is okay. We will get the transfer pricing document from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like to congratulate the Mover of this Motion. He moved this Motion regarding Free Primary Education (FPE) last week and it is long overdue. Indeed, the amount of money being issued for FPE--- Over the last ten years, FPE has done a lot for this country. I thank the Kibaki administration for bringing up this issue together with that of Free Secondary Education (FSE). Unfortunately, a lot of things are not free. that time. The transition from secondary to university or the middle level colleges should be much better. The prices of textbooks have gone up by between 50 per cent and 100 per cent. Some have gone up by about 300 per cent. The Government should come up with a way of setting standard prices which will not be increased by the publishers whenever they feel they need to make more money out of the school children.
