• 21 Mar 2023 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity to support the Statement from Sen. Joe Nyutu, the Senator for Murang’a County. This issue should be covered for the whole country. I do not think there is any county that has enough electricity. The Kenya Power Limited draws most of its power from Masinga Dam, Machakos Count. However, the homes surrounding Masinga Dam have no electricity. Mr. Speaker, Sir, this should not only be done in Murang’a, but across the country. I support. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. view

• 16 Mar 2023 in Senate: Currently, Mr. Meshack Nyakundi, has Throat Cancer. He is looking for funds to replace his voice box because it has been removed. He is struggling and has no funds. He has nobody to help him. That is why we are fighting and requesting the Americans to involve Kenyans in this fund. They suffered a battle that did not belong to them. On humanitarian grounds, they should remember the people who are still suffering. Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is just one of the many projects which have been started in this country. Many Kenyans, through their hard earnings, buy such properties and end up losing every penny after saving with a lot of struggles. This is a very timely Petition.
