For too long, we have been accused that we are not debating the real issues of a legislature, which is to enact legislation. So, the sooner we go into debating legislation in this House, the better. It also comes under the exercise of the constitutional powers by the President. On both counts, whether it comes under the Constitution or human rights, whatever the issues, it ends up on the desk of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights. So, it is up to him to make use of the information received and contact the relevant Ministry. view
