  • 16 Feb 2016 in National Assembly: Washiali’s amendments have also covered the specific areas that I had interest in. After consultation with the Chair, we, therefore, agreed that I withdraw those amendments. view

  • 17 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I am rising on a point of order to ask whether Hon. King’ola is in order to debate issues relating to ethnicity. I am sure this House debated and made a resolution on the CSs that were approved yesterday. The Member has no business taking this House back to the issue of the CSs who were approved yesterday. You should find him completely out of order in line of what he is talking about. He is debating matters to do with ethnicity. He should dwell either on the merits or demerits of these people ... view

Their political backgrounds will add a lot of value in Cabinet. I believe that these Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) in waiting will assist the President even in political management of ... view
  • 16 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, please protect me from the Leader of Majority Party, who says that we have the President. It is good to appreciate that the President serves the country and belongs to Kenya, and not to Kiambu County. Having Joseph Mucheru joining the Cabinet is a great honour not just to the people of Limuru or our neighbours from Kikuyu Constituency but also to the people of the greater Kiambu County. With those remarks, I support and wish the nominees all the best. view
