6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) From registration records kept in my office, I am aware of the 17 registered institutions that have been approved to offer diploma in pharmaceutical technology. There is no certificate course in pharmacy. That is our regulation and the stand of the Ministry. There are few training institutions, mostly private, which have been following the old curriculum because they are working on modalities to meet the requirements for the new curriculum in terms of equipment, staffing and physical facilities. (b) We are taking the following steps to ensure compliance with the necessary ...

6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this chance. First, I want to condole with the families of the Pokots and Turkanas who were killed in this incident. I wish to say that the House has to be very objective and not subjective when we are discussing this matter. 6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have to be truthful in this matter. These communities are fond of doing this and they have beeen doing this for the last 100 years. If you conduct raids on the Pokots they will have to revenge. If you do that to Turkanas, they will do the same. These are things which normally take place on a daily basis. I am speaking the truth. Let us have a long lasting solution to this matter. I want the Government to saturate police officers in those areas.

6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly:
When you look at the place where this incident took place, it is a corridor because Baragoi, Nafestom, Lochakula and Kainuk--- These places have actually been handed to bandits. I have said many times that these places are poorly policed. They have no communication. Unless we do something about this corridor, the Government will not succeed in addressing problems in these areas. So, let us address the problems of Baragoi, Nafestom, Kainuk corridor. The Provincial Commissioner transversed those areas using choppers. I want to tell you that it is not even easy to know the number of people who were ...
