Yes. I want to seek clarification. The issue I want clarified is whether during the tarmacking of Kirua-Kisima, the section that was tarmacked using low seal of Kirua-Kibirichia Road would be part of the tarmacking of the entire road. Thank you. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor.

Highway in Kisima, but to date, this has not been done. Ten years later, even the eight kilometers tarmac that was done has got worn out. This road is key to linking socio- economic development of the region, notably the constituency where a long section of this road passes. The Chairperson of the Committee should inquire into and report on the following:-

Thank you, hon. Speaker. I rise on a point order pursuant to Standing Order 172. As much as we are discussing the calendar of the House, Standing Order 172 states as follows: “The Committee on Selection shall be appointed within ten days on assembly of a new House”. Hon. Speaker, I believe this will help us during this Session to solve some committee issues that we have had and have been longstanding for the last one year. Therefore, I request your guidance on Standing Order 172. Thank you.
