The information I am giving to the Assistant Minister is that he should not bother because this House will not approve the proposed Value Added Act. Thank you. view

• 11 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am just curious because the Minister has put the blame on the Government Printer. The last time I checked, the Government Printer was not the approving authority. Could the Minister come out clearly and tell us who within the Ministry or Government, is refusing to have this particular applicant gazetted? Could she also confirm whether or not it is about the wars within the Coalition Government? Is that why this particular person is not being gazetted? view

Member, and for that matter this House, that they should not expect anything from the Ministry of Agriculture. First, they have killed the cotton industry. The Assistant Minister is aware of what they have done to the cotton industry. Secondly, where we have canals as in my constituency, we only get support from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and not the Ministry of Agriculture. Finally, who revived Bura Irrigation Scheme?
