  • 30 Dec 2022 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I also take this opportunity to add my voice, first of all, to congratulate the hon. Senator for Bungoma for making it into the House amidst stiff challenge from other worthy competitors. A heavy burden rests on the shoulders of Sen. David Wafula. I say so because Bungoma County has been a barometer of the politics of western Kenya. So, whatever utterances or political moves that he will make, the people of Tana River and the rest of Kenyans will be watching. All of us will be interested in his moves. We welcome him to ... view

  • 12 Oct 2022 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I take this opportunity to remind this House that during this Session, there will be times that our parties will give us instructions, but there are times that we must close ranks. We will not speak as Members of the Opposition or Government. We will close ranks and agree to do the right things for devolution to work. We need to protect our counties despite those who are gaining or losing. We should work together and independently execute our mandate without fear or intimidation. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I support. view
