Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me an opportunity also to give my views on the proposed amendments to the CBK Act. I am wondering why the Minister chose to bring these kinds of amendments and what the purpose for these amendment is. If you look at the Memorandum of Objects and Reasons for these proposed amendments, the Minister wants to provide for a procedure for the appointment of the chairperson of the board and set out the working relationship with the Governor and Deputy Governors.
