• 15 May 2014 in Senate: I could not believe it, but I have accepted it with a heavy heart. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, there is one thing that we all have to accept as a Senate. I thought we should have started with Kshs238 billion. We take it to the National Assembly and let them reject it, then we go to the people. This is because this Kshs238 billion is not going into our individual pockets; it is going to our counties. The National Assembly Members are also members of the counties.
