However, to date, these people have not received any ownership document to their land. In addition, the settlement scheme has not been gazetted to allow for this required sub-division. The people of Baringo South, Lakes Baringo and Bogoria are expanding their territories. This has now affected their environment; six schools are now closed and 1000 families are out in the cold. The Committee has not responded to my request and I do not know what is going on; these people are suffering and I am still expecting to hear from the Committee. view
