Hata hivyo, kuna sehemu zile ambazo zimenyakuliwa. Mashamba yamenyakuliwa. Ingekuwa vyema iwapo hatua zingechukuliwa ... view
  • 1 Apr 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Whereas I respect the Member on the Floor, I wonder whether he is in order to say that all of us are corrupt. Personally, I am not! view
  • 25 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. It is very important that we have the presence of the Auditor-General’s Office in every county. The mess we currently have in all the counties, in terms of misappropriation of public funds, is due to the absence of the Auditor-General’s Office in the counties. Therefore, it is very important for us to consider this amendment. I support it. view
  • 11 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you. I wish to move an amendment that the Motion be amended by deleting the word “urges” and substituting it with the word “resolves.” When we say we urge the Government, we are giving room to the Government to do or not do. However, when we have “resolves” then this House is dictating on the terms that we have to revert to the grading system. Without the grading system, we are not headed anywhere. • 11 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: That is just the same as saying that we should have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) certificates of completion. There is no need of having marks in this case. It is simply marking but not awarding marks. Being a teacher by profession, I do not think that, that is the right direction to go. I ask my fellow Members to support my amendment so that we have the word “resolves” which will dictate the Government or the Ministry to revert back to the ranking system. Thank you. view

  • 11 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. This is a House of rules and order. My fellow hon. Member who is walking out crossed the Floor twice. He has said that you have not seen him, so it does not matter. view
  • 4 Mar 2015 in National Assembly: Asante, Bw. Katiba, ingawa hivyo, imetupatia uwezo sawa, kwamba sote tumsimamie mtoto maanake ni sisi tuliofanya bidii mpaka tukamleta duniani. Asante. view
