Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I am sorry for that disruption by the eminent Sen. Madzayo. I had sought a Statement two weeks ago from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations, which he committed to give last week. Upon my request, Sen. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, first and foremost, on behalf of myself, my family and the leadership of Mombasa County and her people, I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Sen. He exuded extraordinary humour. In fact, at any opportune time when he had a minute or two, he would drop a joke or two on our diverse nature. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, when I was ...

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to commend that very robust response from Sen. Haji. That undertaking demonstrates the gravity and seriousness of this Statement. Based on the commitment by the Chairman Sen. Haji reasonably, Tuesday should be fine. We should be able to get some indication because the matter is urgent and current before we lose track of time in this whole process.
