This is a road over which Questions have come to this House several times, and there are fears on the ground that the Minister intends to divert this road from its original course, and this may be the reason for the delay in getting funds from donors to work on this road. Can the Minister confirm or deny that fear on the ground? view
  • 23 Jun 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I seek the indulgence of the Chair because I have received a copy of the written answer but it still pleads for sub judice which is against the ruling you gave when I asked the Question on 13th April, 2010. However, I beg to ask the Question. view

  • 22 Jun 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology the following Question by Private Notice. Could the Minister clarify whether or not the group of 400 self-sponsored diploma teacher students, who joined Kenyatta University in 2006 in the second year and were exempted from 16 units, will be awarded their Bachelor of Education degrees at the graduation on 2nd July, 2010? view
  • 22 Jun 2010 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. This is very sad. We have been told that out of 231 students who did that course, only one will graduate. That indicates that most of the students were not aware of those conditions when they were admitted. Could the Assistant Minister confirm whether those students were aware of the conditions before they were admitted? view
