In his Statement, the Minister should address the following:- (a) When will the Government lift the “law” slapped on it by the two bodies above not to employ those teachers who complete their training in our teacher training colleges? view

Could the Minister tell us the truth about the warder? Is he under police custody or has he been released? view

He is aware that part of the 10 per cent we ought to have received by the end of the last financial year has not yet been released and yet he is just talking about Kshs7 million. I hope the Assistant Minister also comes from a constituency. We have problems down there. Could he tell us when he is going to give us the balance that is outstanding from last year and what this Kshs7 million he is talking about constitutes? view

Kilonzo’s constituency and also his area. Could he tell us, in formulating this policy, how much time he took to involve the farmers, like those in Migori, who actually depend on cassava for their livelihood? • 18 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is common knowledge that this programme was very useful for this country especially with the introduction of the free primary education system which brought in more pupils and students to our schools. There were issues that forced some of the donors to withdraw the funds they were giving us. Is the Assistant Minister prepared to tell Kenyans the steps they have taken to address these issues, so that the donors can give back the money that they were giving this country for us to build more classrooms in our schools? view

In fact, this is the road that will go round to Migori County where I come from. Many people in South Nyanza are very concerned about the construction of this road.
