  • 28 Jul 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity to contribute to the Office of the County Printer Bill. This is an important Bill because of the delays that occur at the Government Printer. You know that all the Bills that are processed through county assemblies are supposed to be published. However, it takes a very long time before they are published. This Office of the County Printer Bill seeks to devolve the Government Printer so that we lessen the time to publish these important Bills and documents. view
  • 28 Jul 2021 in Senate: One time I asked my county assembly why they had processed very few Bills. In fact, for the first five years, they published only three Bills apart from, of course, the Budgets and Appropriation Bills. The answer they gave me was that they were unable to process the Bills because they are not published at the Government Printer. This is a panacea to this problem because then that queuing at the Government Printer will be lessened. view
