Thank you very much, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I wish to thank those who contributed to this Motion and for the issues that they brought up. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, just to be brief and clear, let me say that the last coffee that was harvested, the average price that was made by the areas that produce coffee, including the county you represent, was about Kshs22 per kilogramme. If you look at the cost of producing that coffee for the whole year and the amount of work that was invested, not only did those farmers not make money, but they ...

Tumeingia katika muundo mpya wa Serikali na matumaini yetu kama viongozi ni kuona kwamba chanzo, mwenendo na mipango yote tunayofanya inawasaidia wananchi wote. Bw. On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I share the same rivers with Sen. Wamatangi. A statement on contamination of the two rivers was issued by the NEMA, giving warning to residents who live close to the rivers not to use that water. We discussed this statement with Sen. Wamatangi and an undertaking was given that a Statement would be issued in two weeks. As we are talking, young men are diving into those rivers and the cows and other livestock are drinking water from those rivers, when actually a warning was issued by the Government. Therefore, this issue ...

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. With your previous ruling on the issue that was raised by Sen. Wamatangi, may I kindly ask the Chair to give – I do not know whether I want to say “orders” or “undertaking” – from the two Chairpersons, since the report is coming on Thursday for Sen. Wamatangi and myself to visit the areas, because it will take us only 30 minutes on Thursday morning before the report is brought here at 2.30 p.m. in the afternoon?
