We came here in our own rights. We were elected to come here. We were not pushed to come here. • 10 Jul 2013 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this amendment. But I would like to just pass a word of advice to the Committee that will be formed. They need to conduct civic education amongst the people that they will be visiting, so that they do not end up creating a centre to source for bribes. Through setting up committees, we may end up handing powers to the chiefs, assistant chiefs and other unscrupulous persons, who will pretend to be screening the projects, yet they will be asking for money.
