Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I think that one has passed. I was just in support of Clause 27 on the change of names to the Copyright Tribunal which will be solving disputes rather than just saying ‘a competent authority’. We need a tribunal by itself which will be composed of men and women as enshrined in our Constitution. Thank you.

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. At the outset, I support that allocation. We need promotion of good labour services; we need good practices in the labour offices. That is why we need all this money. As my friend from Pokot has said, we need an industrial revolution. So, we need money to support the learning in industrial courses and all that.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, thank you for that chance to address this Parliament on behalf of my people of Lari. I wish to talk about the Presidential Address that was made on 2nd May without forgetting the great breakfast that we had in Safari Park Hotel. From the outset, I support the Speech by the President. The handshake was great. It has developed many relationships that are making our country Kenya work. Our businesses are doing well and we congratulate the President for the initiative. I also want to congratulate the President because our uniformed forces are doing a good ...

of Africa in general. After the very hotly-contested elections, we now see a good way of living, working and articulating issues together. We are with our brothers from the NASA side. I believe from now on, when Jonah tables a Motion, it will be looked at objectively except my friend, Sossion, who is opposing it just by virtue of his being in NASA. The handshake has worked marvelously… After the handshake, we also have the Big Four Agenda which includes universal healthcare. I want to take this opportunity to encourage the people of Lari to go out of their way ...

Thank you so much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support Hon. George Kariuki for bringing this Motion. I thought he would extend it not only to the major cities and towns but also to our villages in the rural areas where we also need water to be harvested.

We need to operationalise the National Water Storage and Harvesting Authority so that it can take care of water pans where our pastoralists can have areas of giving their animals water during dry spells. We have a lot of water in Isiolo now but two months later, animals will die because of drought. We have so much water which flows in Mai Mahiu but two months down the line, animals will die because of drought. We can create water pans that are well done to ensure that they do not gather a lot of silt. That means the water and ...
