  • 3 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to oppose this particular Motion. The term of the TJRC has been extended several times. I was not a Member of this House then, but I remember that the last time an extension of time was given, it was for purposes of report writing, which has actually gone over-time. If at all the TJRC wants an extension, that should be appropriately handled by the Committee. If they give sufficient reasons that extension could be granted through the Committee. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view

I would really like to say that the public awareness that is anticipated in Article 12 also needs to be directed to those Bills and treaties that we signed before this Bill came into place. Otherwise, thank you very much. I think it is a job well done. There is an article that talks of the registry ... view
  • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, is the Assistant Minister aware that the right to health is constitutional? To the extent that he is answering this Question, he needs to appreciate that we are in violation of the Constitution if we do not give Kenyans adequate healthcare. view
  • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I think that the hon. Assistant Minister is not appreciating the fact that he is responding to issues that are constitutional and he needs to give us a straight Government policy in terms of healthcare. view
  • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, my question is in four parts. view
  • 26 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Okay, I will ask the question. I would like to ask the hon. Assistant Minister, what happened to the famous “Michuki rules” because they were hailed for mitigating the number of accidents. view
