I stand to support the First Supplementary Estimates because it is going to assist the Government to carry out important tasks in this Republic. By passing it, it will manage, in my opinion, the issues that are affecting the country, for example, the question of security and policing services. First, what has been agreed on Clause 7 – that a representative of the civil society nominated by the most representative national umbrella association be in the council – is important because it clarifies the mechanism for identifying who will be that representative.
