The state of the people living in slums is quite pathetic and many Kenyans are really suffering. I visited Kibera and other slums in Nairobi and was shocked. I preferred to live in the village rather than living in the slums. The slum dwellers are exposed to many dangers and risks, especially the young ladies who are exposed to many dangers, including poor parents who struggle to feed their children by doing all manner of jobs.
