With regard to the comparative ratio of women and men appointed as Members of County Executive Committees (CECs) and Chief Officers in all the counties, some counties are still in transition and have not completed appointment of CEC members and Chief Officers. I support this Bill because it provides the legal framework for the assumption of the office county government. In this regard, I congratulate the sponsor, Sen. Wamatangi, who is a good friend. I also confirm that this Bill will take care of some of the challenges and gaps that we are already experiencing as a nation.
