This area has suffered insecurity for many years. We can understand the dilemma the hon. Senator is in as he represents his people and also seeing the suffering of the people on the ground. Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to this important Motion on the Slum Upgrading and Prevention Policy. I came to Nairobi a few years ago. After a few months, because of the Ministry I was involved in, I visited Kibera Slum which is highly populated. It took me one whole week to recover from what I saw.
