He also talked about development and infrastructure. Let me also mention programmes that the Jubilee Government launched. One of the programmes the President talked about is the Integrated Population Registration System. This is a comprehensive database of all registered persons residing in Kenya, both Kenyan citizens and foreigners. This is one of the best things that I have ever heard in this country. If you want to buy a piece of land, you can know the owner through a search. We have had issues of double registration. Many conflicts in this country emanate from land matters. view
